The Colorado Hoopsters 16u played in the Nike Tournament of Champions in Atlanta. The girls had a few ups and downs but played hard and were fighting every game. Mariah Ramos hurt her ankle in the 1st few minutes of the 1st game. Losing Mariah for the entire tournament was hurtful to the 16u team. However the team picked up the pieces and battled on. Coach Dante Ramos did an excellent job preparing the team for battle, teaching the strategies of basketball and teaching life principles. The Hoopsters are alive and well.
The kids had a great experience and are learning what it takes to be great. We couldn't be more proud of the girls. Great job 16u Hoopsters.
